Sophomore Tom Glissmeyer fired a 4-under 66 and freshman Jamie Lovemark and senior Joshua Wooding were also under par to lead the USC men’s golf team on the first day of the 17th annual UH-Hilo Invitational on Wednesday at the Waikoloa Village G.C. in Waikoloa, Hawaii. The Trojans, seeking their fourth top-2 finish in five events, finished the first day of the three-day event tied for eighth at 275 (-5), seven shots behind first-place and No. 2 Stanford (268).
