Australian Open: Basic in the second qualifying round

first_imgIn the first round of qualifications for the main draw of the Australian Open, Mirza Basic, a Bosnian tennis player, enrolled in the victory, while Aldin Setkic was defeated.In a match that lasted for an hour and 56 minutes, Basic (180 ATP) celebrated against Lorenzo Guistin (217 ATP) from Italy. The first set ended with a score of 6: 3 for Giustina followed by a reversal of  Basic who won the final 2: 1 (3: 6, 6: 3, 6: 2).IN the second round, Basic will play against Peter Polanskyjog from Canada. first_imgA soccer player who suffered a broken jaw after he was assaulted in a Donegal town nightclub has been awarded €9,322 damages by a High Court jury.David Graham (24), Laghey, Co Donegal, a striker with Donegal Town FC, sued Darren Reynolds, Bruckless, Dunkineely, Co Donegal, over the assault at the Sky nightclub in the Abbey Hotel, Donegal, on the night of August 5/6th 2012.The Irish Times reports that the disco was packed with people celebrating Donegal having qualified for the All-Ireland GAA football final earlier that day, the court heard.
